I’ve had my eye on Introstem for a while. This skincare brand has made a name for itself thanks to its revolutionary formulations containing grape stem cells. Over the years, various Introstem products have been in the limelight, each one hailed for a clever combination of ingredients that result in products that truly deliver.

Now that Introstem’s latest set of products, the EmberCell Collection, has hit the shelves, I decided that it was finally time to give the brand a try. Here’s what I discovered about the undeniably intriguing EmberCell Collection…

Unboxing the Introstem EmberCell Collection

The unboxing process can sometimes be pretty exciting, and the Introstem EmberCell Collection definitely plays into that. A mere four days after placing my order, I received a box in the mail and eagerly tore into it. A sleek blue box sat within, which flipped open to reveal the three products in the collection.

In terms of first impressions, this collection couldn’t have done any better. These products are exquisitely packaged, in a way that embodies their high-end nature. The products feel weighty and high-quality while the overall visual aesthetic left me even more intrigued about what these products would do for my skin. While each product can be used as a standalone, they’ve been designed to work together as a system, so I followed Introstem’s recommendations on using them in this way in the hopes of achieving the very best results.

The EmberCell Radiance Thermal Mask

The EmberCell Collection system starts with the EmberCell Radiance Thermal Mask. If thermal masks are new to you (like they were to me), you’re in for a treat! As you apply this mask to your skin, it gently heats up. The warmth is quite subtle but is soon intensified after you apply the EmberCell Radiant Serum over the top – but more on that later!

Within this mask, you’ll find some tantalizing ingredients. Kaolin clay sits near the top of the ingredient list, with this clay loved for how it soaks up excess sebum without completely drying the skin out. It’s a great clay for clearing out the pores, leaving an easy path for the rest of the ingredients in the mask to access your skin cells.

What are the rest of those ingredients? An impressive roster of antioxidants. Vitamins A, C, and E can be found in this mask, along with grape stem cells – Introstem’s signature ingredient. It’s also loaded with other potent plant extracts, including lemon and coffee seed. Meanwhile, the likes of arnica, aloe vera, and sweet almond come together to keep the skin feeling calm and balanced.

Does it Work?

I’ve now used this mask a few times and, after each use, I’ve noticed the same effects. Firstly, my skin feels notably softer, almost unbelievably so! It also looks significantly brighter – it seems to reflect light better, giving it a glow. My pores always look smaller after I’ve used this mask too – a godsend when you’re dealing with tricky combination skin!

The EmberCell Radiant Serum

The EmberCell Radiant Serum is a very interesting product. It has primarily been designed to work in conjunction with the EmberCell Radiance Thermal Mask. Once the mask has been applied, you massage a couple of drops of the serum over the top. This heightens the heating effect, which will help your pores to feel even more relaxed and receptive.

However, that’s not all that this serum does…

Take a look at its ingredient list and you’ll see several noteworthy names on there, making this serum a worthy product in its own right too. In addition to grape stem cells, which you’ll find in every Introstem product, it also boasts extracts from lilac, hawthorn berry, and apple. It contains three different peptides too – ingredients that are great for keeping the skin feeling supported and super-smooth.

Does it Work?

When it comes to intensifying the heating effect of the thermal mask, this serum works beautifully. I usually only apply two drops of it to the mask, yet even this small amount makes a big difference.

While the mask should only be used weekly, this serum seemed too good to only be applied once a week. So, I’ve been using it in my daily skincare routine too. This is the only new serum that I’ve added to my routine in the last couple of months so I would attribute the fact that my skin now looks brighter and less creased to the incredible ingredients in this serum.

The EmberCell Hydrating Cream

The final product in the Introstem EmberCell Collection is the EmberCell Hydrating Cream. It’s a lightweight moisturizer that hydrates with humectants rather than heavy oils.

What stood out to me the most about this moisturizer is its incredible antioxidant content. Vitamins A and E are in the mix, along with grape stem cells, grape seed extract, rose fruit extract, and rosemary leaf extract.

Even better, this cream contains a small amount of salicylic acid too. It’s a great ingredient for removing gunk from within the pores. Not only does this mean that you won’t end up with clogged pores after moisturizing, but it also gives the other ingredients a clearer route to your skin cells.

I often struggle to find creams that suit my combination skin. This one, however, works beautifully. I use it morning and night because of how it gives my skin such a soft and dewy quality but without leaving it feeling greasy. It’s light enough to wear under makeup too – it works excellently as a primer!

Final Verdict on the Introstem EmberCell Collection

It’s safe to say that I was very impressed by Introstem’s EmberCell Collection! Each product works well on its own but together they provide such amazing results. My skin now looks clearer, brighter, and smoother than it has in a while – so much so that it won’t be long before I look into adding other Introstem products to my skincare routine!
