It’s always fun to try some of the more ‘out there’ skincare ingredients, which is what initially attracted me to Celestolite. This skincare brand champions the use of meteorite powder, a rare and unusual ingredient that isn’t commonly found in cosmetics. With that said, proponents of this ingredient rave about how it quickly leads to beautifully radiant skin, producing an outstanding glow.
So, what’s the truth? Can meteorite dust really give you better-looking skin? I tried and tested the Celestolite Nova Bright Collection to find out exactly that.
Why Meteorite Dust?
Before I started using the products in the Nova Bright Collection, I did a little digging to find out more about why Celestolite chose meteorite powder as its signature ingredient. Turns out, meteorites are full of skin-loving minerals. From calcium to magnesium to sodium, these are all minerals that people seek out when they’re striving for radiant skin, and meteorite powder provides a boatload of them.
Of course, there are plenty of skeptics too. With meteorite powder not having the same amount of research behind it as many other skincare ingredients, this is understandable. Let’s start with what is arguably the most important product in the Celestolite Nova Bright Collection; the Nova Bright Skin Cream (SPF 30). Why is this such a key product? Because sun protection is essential for everyone. Without it, your skin will age much faster and you’ll also be more prone to skin cancer.
Interestingly, even with this knowledge, people still don’t take sun protection seriously enough. With the Nova Bright Skin Cream SPF 30, Celestolite provides a solution. This cream, which doubles up as a hydrating daytime moisturizer, makes sun protection so much more convenient. Apply it as part of your morning skincare routine and you can take comfort from the fact that your skin will be protected for at least the next couple of hours.
While the UV filters in this cream give it these sun-protecting properties, there are several other noteworthy ingredients in this formula too. Aloe vera is one. This botanical is renowned for soothing the feeling of inflammation (which the sun causes) while hydrating the skin. Vitamin E is also known for its skin barrier-loving properties while green tea extract is loaded with antioxidants. Of course, meteorite powder is in the mix too.
These carefully chosen ingredients make this product the success that it is. Not only is it easy to apply and quick to absorb but it definitely contributes to radiant skin too. The Nova Bright Glow-C Serum from the Celestolite Nova Bright Collection is Celestolite’s offering. What makes this vitamin C serum different from the hundreds of others out there? A few things…
For starters, the type of vitamin C that it uses. Many forms of vitamin C are notorious for being unstable or irritating. 3-O-ethyl ascorbic acid, however, which is what you’ll find in this serum, has none of those issues. Instead, it’s stable and kind to the skin, yet still potent enough to bring about visible changes.
As with all Celestolite products, this serum contains meteorite powder too. Although vitamin C takes a while to work, this serum is able to bring about radiant skin in seconds, and this is likely down to the meteorite powder.
Again, this serum is a joy to use. The pump dispenser makes life easy while the serum itself is silky and lightweight. It is one that I now use every evening and have seen some big improvements in my skin as a result.

There’s no denying the fact that these products really do work, but this is also down to how they contain several other proven cutting-edge ingredients. It’s difficult to say how much of an impact the meteorite dust has but, either way, Celestolite’s high-performance products are definitely worth trying!
